What to Buy at the 2019 Sephora VIB Sale

It’s my favorite time of the year again–time for the 2019 Sephora VIB Sale! Y’all know how much I love makeup and even more how much I love a good sale. So this is basically like Christmas in April for me. And I love sharing my recommendations for the Sephora VIB Sale with you guys each year, so below are my suggestions on what to buy at the 2019 Sephora VIB Sale!

DRUNK ELEPHANT Get Even™ Kit

I absolutely love Drunk Elephant skincare, specifically their vitamin C serum and glycolic acid serum. This kit included half-sized bottles of each of those serums, plus a small size of their new retinol cream that I’ve been dying to try. If you’ve never tried Drunk Elephant, their kits are a great way to try smaller sizes of the products so that you can decide if you like them or not.

MILK MAKEUP KUSH Waterproof Mascara

I’ve heard so many great things about the Kush Waterproof Mascara and I’m taking the sale as my opportunity to test it out for myself. During the spring, my eyes itch and water a lot so it’s nice to have a waterproof mascara–otherwise I end up with black mascara running down my face every day.

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer

This is a recent favorite of mine that I’d like to recommend to you. I have this bronzer in the shade Coco Naughty and it looks great on my skin tone. There are eight shades total, which is great for a variety of people! I really appreciate having a bronzer shade that is dark enough to show up and look really warm on my skin. It feels nice and blends nicely.

LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm

I am obsessed with the Laneige lip sleeping mask. So when I saw this balm come out, I decided to add it to my wish list for the sale. I’m going to try it in the shade Berry because it looks like it’ll be a nice pink on my lips.

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Body Lava Body Luminizer

Body Lava is great for spring/summer if you’re looking to add a little shimmer to your body. Last year, I purchased Body Lava in the shade Brown Sugar and this year I have my eyes on the shade Trophy Wife. The formula is very nice and the shimmer can be subtle, you just have to use a light touch when applying it.

URBAN DECAY All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

This is the holy grail of setting sprays! I always set my makeup using the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. It feels refreshing on my face and it helps my makeup last all day or night.

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation

I’ve said it before, but I’ll be buying it again so I wanted to mention it. The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r foundation is definitely a highly recommended product for me. It leaves the face looking matte but not stiff. I wear the foundation in the shade 410 and it’s a great match.

TOO FACED Born This Way Foundation

This week I’ve been testing out the Too Faced Born This Way foundation in the shade Chai. This foundation is fantastic and definitely a product I would recommend picking up during the 2019 Sephora VIB Sale.

DRUNK ELEPHANT Protini™ Polypeptide Moisturizer

The Drunk Elephant Protini moisturizer is a great moisturizer to add to your skincare routine. I put it on after my vitamin C serum and before I put my makeup on. It leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated.

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter

I have several of the Fenty Beauty Killawatt highlighters. This year, right before the Sephora VIB Sale, they released a new shade in the foil highlighters called Penny4uthots. It’s a coppery-bronze shade with slightly chunky glitter. It’s a great option for a highlighter or as an eyeshadow.

OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright Eye Crème

This is another product that I’ve heard great things about. The cream brightens your under eye area to refresh and revitalize your face. I recommend trying products like these during the sale because they’re a little expensive and it’s nice to save a little bit.

BEAUTYBLENDER Pretty In Pink Sponge Set

Any Sephora VIB Sale wouldn’t be complete without picking up a new BeautyBlender set. This one is all pink–so it’s obviously the best!

HUDA BEAUTY Liquid Matte Lipstick

The Huda Beauty liquid matte lipstick formula is glorious. I’ve tried the lipstick in Trophy Wife and Heartbreaker so this time I’m going to try Showgirl, a metallic berry color.

URBAN DECAY On The Run Mini Eyeshadow Palette

You guys know how much I love the regular-sized Born to Run Palette, so I can wait to try these mini versions with new colors! I’m going to test the Detour and Shortcut palettes.

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Riviera Eyeshadow Palette

I can’t wait to grab this new palette! The colors are bright and perfect for spring and summer looks.

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder — Hazelnut

I’ve been searching for a new setting powder to try. The Too Faced Peach Perfect is my current favorite. So, during the Sephora VIB Sale, I’m going to try the new Fenty Beauty setting powder in Hazelnut. I love that it comes in a variety of shades too!

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color — Unlocked

The Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint looks gorgeous and I’m anxious to try the color Unlocked! It’s a beautiful bright pink shade.

DRUNK ELEPHANT A-Passioni™ Retinol Cream

This year, also prior to the 2019 Sephora VIB Sale, Drunk Elephant released a new retinol cream to add to their lineup. I’ve already added it to my cart. Retinol cream is great for treating uneven skin tone, fine lines and dark spots.

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter — Afternoon Snack/Mo’ Hunny

Last year, Fenty released a highlighter in Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby and it was so gorgeous, but too light for my skin tone. So this year, when they released their highlighter in Afternoon Snack/Mo’ Hunny, a slightly deeper version of the one released last year, I had to add it to my list!

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick — Flamingo Acid

I love the mattemoiselle formula, it feels smooth on the lips, not stiff. But, it still gives you a nice matte finish. Flamingo Acid is a new berry shade that was released by Fenty Beauty earlier this year.

FIRST AID BEAUTY Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream

This water cream feels so smooth and hydrating. Plus it smells glorious. And I tried it as a sample a few months ago and I couldn’t wait to try the full size during this year’s Sephora VIB Sale.
